Gathering feedback from your learners can help you refine and improve your training content so that you can make your e-learning courses, instructor-led offerings, and supplementary course materials as informative and impactful as possible. Watch the short video above to see how you can create unique course surveys and add them to your courses.
Knowledge Anywhere’s e-learning platform contains a survey engine that allows administrators to build course surveys in a multi-question format. A survey can contain a mixture of different survey question formats such as free form text, frequency, yes/no, and a variety of Likert scale questions. Administrators have the freedom to create as many or as few questions as they like, and have the option to make questions optional or required for the learner to answer.
Is your Learning Management System available in multiple languages? If so, your course surveys should be too! With Knowledge Anywhere’s LMS, you can easily localize survey questions by entering in the translated version of the question.
Course surveys are a great way to obtain learner feedback on training content so that administrators and instructors can make future improvements that improve the learner’s understanding and retention of the course curriculum. But, what about gathering feedback from learners on the learning site as a whole?
With Knowledge Anywhere’s LMS, administrators can create a satisfaction survey that appears to a learner after a designated number of logins. This survey asks learners questions like: “Please rate how well the learning site layout helps you find what you are looking for” or, “Please rate how likely you are to return to the learning site.” These questions can help you understand how well the learning site is being received by your audience, and if there is any confusion from learners on how to use it. It should be noted that learners can opt out of the Satisfaction Survey in the “Preferences” section of the Learner Dashboard.

Coming soon, Knowledge Anywhere is releasing Conveyor (Beta), a Learning Content Distribution System (LCDS), that allows organizations to manage training content from a single, central location and easily share access to courses with third-parties. You may want to share your learning content with others to use on their Learning Management System (LMS), but because of versioning, licensing, tracking, and bureaucracy, it's not always practical. With Conveyor, you can easily share, monitor, and administer your training content in one secure location.
To become an insider and be amongst the first to sign up for a free Beta trial, visit https://conveyor.knowledgeanywhere.com/

Interested in monetizing your Learning Management System? With Knowledge Anywhere’s e-commerce plugin you can sell your training content on a course by course basis. Watch the video above to see our e-commerce LMS in action.
Credit Card Processing
Start generating revenue for your training content with the ability to sell your e-learning courses directly through your LMS. Knowledge Anywhere’s e-commerce plugin makes the purchase experience seamless for learners with an intuitive checkout process. The best part – Your learners can purchase your online training content without ever having the leave the LMS. All major credit cards are accepted. Payment is accepted in $USD.
Want to sell your courses at a discount to certain users or groups? No problem! Administrators can generate and distribute discount codes for learners to apply to their purchase up to 100% of the cost of the course.
Learners are automatically enrolled in a course once they’ve successfully completed the checkout process. They also have the ability to view all the courses they purchased and any discounts that were applied from the learner dashboard.
Lease Expiration Intervals
With lease expiration intervals you can sell access to your e-learning courses for a set period of time – giving learners temporary access to a course (such as 6-months access or 12-months access). Learners must complete the course before the lease expiration interval, as the course will automatically expire at the end of the lease expiration term. This can be helpful if you need learners to complete a purchased course within a specific period of time. It should be noted that lease expiration intervals are optional, and can be activated on a course-by-course basis.
Purchase History Reports
Maintain an accurate record of all courses purchased through the LMS with the ability to pull purchase history reports for individuals and groups.
Want to know which elements of Knowledge Anywhere's LMS can be tailored to your unique style guidelines? In this short video, our team will walk you through all elements of the LMS that can be customized to reflect your organization's brand.
Your logo in full color can be applied on the left side of the site header on the Learner side of the Learning Management System. The logo that you supply will become a link to your homepage (or whatever URL you supply).
You can select a primary color and a secondary color for your custom LMS. The primary color is generally used for headers and form backgrounds, and the secondary color is generally used for buttons.
Images & Videos
You have the option to specify a “hero” or a leading image for the login page of the LMS. This image will go behind the login form and being the headline and sub headline text that introduces the user to the Learning Management System. You can also elect to specify a video that can play in the background as an alternate option. You may also specify an image to include as the supporting image on the Login page of the LMS. This image will appear below the “Hero” image and the Login form and is next to the content block where you can add additional promotional content about the use of your Learning Management System. Images can also be specified in other areas of the LMS for more immersive brand experience.
You can modify the login page and the welcome message text from within the administrative dashboard of the LMS – allowing you to alter your positioning, or advertise different aspects of the system, or important employee events. This is great for promoting internal usage of your custom LMS.
As an LMS administrator, you want to segment your users by their unique attributes, such as the department they are in, what their role or job title is, what their employment status is (hourly vs. salary), where they are located (United States vs. Canada), or any other number of attributes that characterize your employees. In this video, you’ll learn how you can assign learning paths to different groups of users within your organization.
Deliver Content Based on User Department & Role
Knowledge Anywhere’s LMS allows you to segment your users so that you can deliver prescriptive learning paths tailored to different groups within your organization. That way, your sales representatives see only training content related to developing the necessary sales skills they need on the job, and vice versa for other groups of users in your organization (Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Operations, etc.).
Deliver Content Based on User Employment Status or Hire Date
With Knowledge Anywhere’s LMS you can assign learning paths based on a user’s employment status (hourly vs. salary), or based on their hire date. This capability is especially useful for ensuring the consistent delivery of new employee onboarding training.
Deliver Content Based on User Location
Want to deliver different content to users in different geographic locations? With Knowledge Anywhere’s LMS you can ensure that users across the globe see only the content that is optimized for them. This capability is particularly useful when you have training content localized into different languages, or altered to accommodate a specific country’s acceptable customs or norms.
Deliver Content Based on Your Unique Attributes
With Knowledge Anywhere’s LMS you can customize the attribute fields to ensure you assign learning paths based on the user characteristics that are most important to your organization. Some examples include (but aren’t limited to): Organizational Unit, Division, or Job Code.
Sometimes when a user is taking a course from his/her mobile device, the internet goes down and the course completion is lost. To alleviate this challenge, we've added the capability for Administrators to manually mark a user complete.
